Might need a full day to steel ourselves for the possibility that both Miles and Paige may not play tomorrow, 4pm ET on ESPN, at home against the Sooners. If Hoss goes to the game he might want to bring his JaNAME REDACTED West jersey - Yogi may call on him to spell Richard Romeo.

OK, so not the guy who banked in a miracle three to beat Cincy in the 1998 tourney. Brett Solheim. Filter fuck me now, board!

Not going. Gonna play golf in the morning. Have a cocktail or two. Then watch the game and then tomorrow night is the indoor golf tourney. Which is basically a drunk fest with heavy hors d'oeuvres.
Maybe I'll wear my JaNAME REDACTED West jersey to the country club tomorrow night.

Randy should be happy since the refs are letting them play...Oklahoma even gets to put two hands in the defenders chest and shove away.

I think if I were a millionaire I'd pay a group of homeless bums to hang in the student section, and on my cue when sufficiently pissed they'd go out and cold cock every ref and the punchable opponents.

No, the Ref's let OKLAHOMA play, not us (as usual).
But that didn't cost us the game. We were out-rebounded, missed open shots, turned the ball over way too many times and didn't turn them over enough, and basically were out-hustled.
This team amazes me in the fact that we can look all-world for a few games then look like Marshall's JV team the next...
If we would ever gain any consistency and step up scoring again, we could easily be at least an Elite 8 team. My fear is we will play piss poor and lose in the Round of 32...

I see us having 1 GREAT win (Kansas) and one really good win ( @isu) with zero really bad losses. I don't think though we have ever looked all-world or even close. I think that in our best wins we looked like a team that found a way to win despite being not only less talented but having offensive problems so serious it's almost amazing they don't hurt us more than they do.
We can't shoot, pass or handle the ball very well. We turn it over a lot. Our transition offense is erratic and our half court offense is never efficient enough to even deserve being called erratic-- it's bad.
Yet, we are 20-7, tied for 2nd in a really good conference,
The 2 OOC losses were to one really good team on a neutral court and 1 decent team on its court.
Us beating TTU on the road is probably close to a wash with losing to Oklahoma at home.
The only loss all season that might be termed one that on paper looks bad is Texas at home, but, Texas just has had our number for 3 years now (6 out of 7 from 2013-14 until now) so it's not really a surprise.
When you look at our roster and the issues we have on offense, that we are where we are is pretty damn good.
I agree we could lose early in the NCAA if we play poorly but it looks like we will play our way to a favorable seed when you consider our talent level. Just being favored in the first 2 games makes a bit of run far more likely. As I said in a different thread, if we can just shoot and play offense at a decent level we can five anyone a game. How many games in a row we could do that against good teams in the NCAA remains to be seen.

Not sure why, but i blame you jerks for this loss.
We are going to win the big 12 tourney and get a 2 seed. Maybe a 3.

I'm not sure how to feel about an optimistic Matt. He must be struggling with some sort of drug addiction and I feel like we should help him.

If I see him passed out on the rail trail in front of the old Mountaineer Court apartments I'll be sure to leave a dollar in his cup.

You could shave it and your wife could fantasize that she's cheating with a 15-year-old baby faced kid.
Unless you wear the gold & blue Santa suit.
