Not really surprising other than they didn't/couldn't come up with a suitable extension that fives the illusion that Holgs has Lyons confidence while Lyons has the acceptable buyout he desires.
Plus, who would you get to replace him? Most of the good candidates have been snapped up already by other schools looking for a coach.

I was lied to by the VBL. You assured me he would be fired if he didnt win out. Its almost like no one could have known that and if the decision makers had made a decision they wouldn't have told the internet. I'm so disappointed in our sources.
