Also, WVU will not be firing Holgorsen until after the conclusion of the season (if then). Its just not going to happen. I don't think that Lyons or Gee would even want to get into the business of considering the question until then. So, unless Holgs voluntarily leaves before then, we won't have an opening to try to fill for a couple of months at least. Beamer has already announced he is quitting, so VT can look to hire someone immediately. If WVU and VT would both have the same wish list of coaches, VT is going to have the first run at them... its just going to be that way.

I also don't know that either Bitch Jones or RichRod would want to come back to WVU. But I do know that of course they would "express interest" through secret back channels designed to require no commitment, come with complete deniability but also possibly drive up their asking price a little bit. So, "expressing interest through their people" means somewhere around zero shits.
