If your looking at an Ipod touch, just get an Iphone. One less thing to worry about.
However, I do like the audio/video on my Iphone, so I would assume the Touch is pretty good too.

I am pretty sure that other stores online sell music compatible with ipods. I have been a Rhapsody subscriber for years, so I didnt pay much attention to it, but they launched some sort of MP3 store not too long ago that I thought it said was compatible with ipods or whatever else.
I am not an ipod guy, though, so I have no idea. I use my Sirius Stiletto as my portable MP3 player...and it also works as a portable satellite radio receiver in addition to docking in the house and in the car....
It doesnt play video, of course....so I figure it wouldnt be something you were looking for here, buts its really all I know to suggest, since I am exceptionally non-tech savvy.

How well does your Stiletto work? I was going to buy one of those last year for multi-use....office/car/outside....but I was actually told at Circuit City that the reception was horrible and that I was likely going to be able to use it in either my car or office, so I didn't buy it.
I guess that is why Circuit City is going out of business.

It works really well for me.
If you don't have it docked and are just using it on its own, it has to have a clear "line-of-sight" deal with the sky, or it wont get service in most places. That is, it wont work in your pocket.
That is, of course, unless there is wifi around. The thing will connect to a wifi network and play the sirius radio over the internet....from your pocket or wherever else. (if the wifi requires a password, it even can have you input that and it can connect)
In bigger cities, however, thats not a problem, since they broadcast the signal via terrestrial towers. So, like, when I am in Boston or New York or New Orleans or whatever, I am able to just put it in my pocket and it picks up fine.
Beyond that, of course, it saves automatically several hours from your favorite stations, and it has a button for you to save songs as they play on the radio....and you can add songs from your computer to the thing like an iPod.
For me, it is amazing. I have the home stereo and I can put it in there, turn the volume down to zero and let it record a new 12 hour set from my favorite station overnight and then listen to that while I am working away from my car or home the next day....and it plays through as though it was live radio...just songs and the occaisional DJ.
