It's like GL is scared of the Wii. I mean I know it is overtaking XBox as the top selling system but it doesn't make you any less of a person.

Its really not. That Wiimote is awesome and simply creates an environment of fun. It trumps anything currently on the market. And that is why it outsells every other thing out there.
If I have another child, I am naming him or her Wii.

I also think that the Wii is awesome and the Fit is amazing. You actually get to hold the controls like a gun in the shooter games....and I really like that. I sold my gym membership and I holla hoop every night on the Fit. I actually hope that they have a holla hoop contest (ala Madden) because I think that I can probably blow that shit out of the water.

The Wii is built for the 99% of households without a basement dwelling gamer. Of course people with 360s and PS3s hate it - it's not meant for them. We are a 360 and Wii household, and we play both. The kids go from Lego ____ on the 360 to Wii Sport and Wii Playground seamlessly.
Yeah, the graphics & online stuff on the Wii aren't up to par with the next gen consoles, but the presentation and simplicity for the non-hardcore gaming crowd is the point of the Wii.

Eh, the gaming system that is going to be the most successful is going to be whoever figures out how to ditch the console altogether and gets the whole thing to run via subscription service through a cable or satellite box. No longer have to worry about manufacturing the boxes or game discs, no longer have to hope people buy the new boxes when new technology comes out...you have a built in way to get them to pay for all of the extra online crap.... they never really own the games so if they want to keep playing them, they have to keep paying for it every month....
