Good offensive drive to start. Defense needs to tighten up some.
As for the TV...FS2 sucks. Looks like a local-access cable broadcast.

Two more touchdowns for WVU. ECU defense is not good.
In a related topic, our kickoff team is not good either.

Sloppy possession. Field goal try is missed.
Did I mention our Special Teams suck?

Not sold on our CB's. We let ECU mount a "drive" for a FG.

ECU tries onside kick. Touches too soon. WVU takes ball & Finau-ly scores.

Chugnov in at QB. Drive stalls & once again our point-prevention team (aka special teams) miss a FG again.
Going to the 4th Quarter...

Sloppy 2nd half. I just wish the Referees would put the whistle in their pocket & let the clock roll.
Same score.

Hakeem Bailey really sucks. We five up a 93 yard bomb for a TD to ECU?

My apologies to the Bailey family. It was Winfield who was burned for the TD.
Still...our CB's worry me.
Score is the same.

This game broadcast sucks. Bad sound & bad picture. Plus living in NC & can't listen to Tony. Hoss has repeatedly pimped some overpriced thing with a sync delay. I've droned on repeatedly about DVR + Tunein. At this point it's no one's fault but your own. And the shitty CB.

Ok we learned that if anyone gets hurt, we're fucked. Our second unit or whatever was so unbelievably bad.

My Comcast plan apparently doesn't include FS2 in HD. But it was in HD if I watched on the Fox Sports Go app on the roku. Which I did for a couple of minutes. I think I mostly saw commercials and standing around.
But winning is better than losing, I think. So I guess we know we are at least as good as James Madison.
Still winless in top 25 games, winless in rivalry games, winless in the Big 12, winless in games against teams with winning records, winless against teams capable of beating FCS schools. None of which can change next week, either.
Are we going to be better than suck or are we going to lose 5 conference games? Because it looks like we are going to lose 5 conference games.
So, hooray!

DirectTV has FS2 in glorious HD. Our game might have been the only live presentation on it all week.

I may have been optimistic about only losing 5 conference games. So ten? Oklahoma will beat us so bad it counts as two losses?

I mean, am I the only one that thinks we're not that bad? I'd still take the over that Vegas gave us for wins.

Yeah. I mean, I don't have a lot of faith that our defense will fare that well against decent offenses, but I think that we should be able to crank the offense up rather impressively more often than not.
I honestly think we will lose to Oklahoma, Texas, Oklahoma State...and will probably lose to TCU....and should be underdogs against Kansas State.
Kansas is obviously a win. I guess we should count Baylor as a win. I think TTU is more of a coin flip but its at home.
So, I mean, I would say 6-6 is a reasonable guess at this point. But I really wouldn't be surprised if we ended up beating Texas or KState or something.
Based on the first three games, 8 Wins would be over-performing, in my opinion.

I mean, am I the only one that thinks we're not that bad? I'd still take the over that Vegas gave us for wins. I think we aren't that bad at all. VT has said if WVU would've had about a minute more that we would've won. I'm curious to see us this weekend. If we get away from Kansas with a win & are 3-1 going into a bye week, we should be ok. We get a few of our better players who are injured back too in time for TCU. That will be the "acid test." We beat TCU in Ft. Worth then the sky is the limit.

Yeah, I think we're pretty much an 7-8 win team. OK and OK St are obvious losses. K-State is a probable loss. And I think we split TCU/Texas. Any loss outside of that would be pretty disappointing. But who knows, maybe Grier gets back on the juice and we beat Ok St 89-86.
